I'd go for Martinez but remember his compo package was £5mil when Liverpool tried to get him. We gonna be able to afford that? Or like buying players we gonna have go get a manager on loan of wait til he's out of contract?

If someone does come in for moyes and he goes , anyone coming in will have to play the game with the board and get straight into bed with kenwright , nothing will change on that side of things. The phoney PR friendship is probably written into the contract now so nobody Could ever be called out. I would like to think bill has moved on from wanting megson , reckon he would opt for neville myself
.

That is the post of the thread, right there and it,s knife to my blue heart.

Foreign manager please. No more loyalty to local ****e such as Neville, Hibbert, etc.

I've said it before but I hoenstly think we underestimate how attractive a job everton is.

I honestly think we could get a big manager here.

This is what i think.

Also, I know we have no money, but Bill sticks by his Manager, so that will also be a bit of an atraction.

We are a big Club, even before Moyes came here.

I hate this attitude that Moyes leave's, we just crumple and die!!!

he owe's us as much as we owe him.

He has a POINT

Laudrup no question. I admire the way he has the team playing. It’s not all about possession for possession’s sake, he’s added an end product and everything has a purpose. He knows how to shut up shop when needed as well. Swansea have been one of the better sides to watch this season in the league. He seems to have an eye for a bargain in the tfr market as well. I’d go as far as to say that I think it would be an upgrade if we got Laudrup as manager.

He's a short termer, though. He's at clubs for a year and then off. Is that what we're looking for?

We are a club chasing a CL spot,we have in our squad probably half a dozen players that would be welcome in the squad of every club in the premiership.
We haved moved from people such as Bruce,Megson etc. with probably five years or more. The Everton job will be attractive to some of the very best managers in Europe and the salary available will rule out practically no one.

I see people suggesting foreign managers, but who ? I don't want to appoint somebody simply because they are from the continent.
The Southampton team we played last night was Nigel Adkins team and not that of the new manager who had zero input into their performance.

I would consider the appointment of Phil Neville if he was appointed with an older more experienced mentor such as Kendall or Royle for two or three years.

Solskjaer, Cuper, Rehhagel, René Girard, Pellegrini, Rijkaard etc. I'm not saying that all of them would want to come here but I honestly think we can look at that calibre of manager.

It's a shame that the likes of Scolari, Sampaoli, Van Gaal and Emery have been snapped up of late or I'd add them as big name managers who might be interested in coming here.

We're not in the same position as we were eleven years ago, we don't have to settle for someone from the lower leagues.

do you REALLY see neville doing ANYTHING different than what moyes would do? he's just as guilty of the hoofball emblematic of the moyes era as moyes himself.
