Moyes is the man!!!

I feel honoured to have David Moyes at our club, his attitude is fantastic. He is one of the best managers in the premiership and has the desire to take us places that I believe we can go with him at the helm and a decent squad behind him.

He is the best manager in the premiership. Yes, there are more successful (In terms of trophies) managers but there is not a better 'man' in charge of a premiership club.

He is always honest with the fans and never ever gets involved in childish squabbles like some of them have. Even when the [Poor language removed] blatently cheated beyond any reasonable doubt he still conducted himself with a dignity and a poise that is rarely seen from supposed adults and was not pushed into childish insults when the FSW was obviously trying to lure him in.

The guy oozes pure class in everything he does and I for one am feeling so much better now he has come out and said what he has.

Moyes....

I’ve heard a rumour going around that Man United are too approach Everton on speaking to Moyes about taking the role of assistant manager...

Has anyone close to the club heard this??

I was being bullied in the workplace back in 2003-2007.

In 2004, one of the tactics was to try and have a pop at me, by having ago at Everton FC by calling them "sh*t" etc. "you're going to get relegated" "you're rubbish" "hahahahahaha"

What did Moyes do? He saved my life quite frankly. In 2004/2005 we were beating all comers and finished above the RedSh*te.

Being happy generally last season being at Goodison was an absolute pleasure.

I'm a big Moyes follower. The man is a leg-end to me because he did for me something special, and he's never ever disappointed me, even with massive odds stacked against him, and even when he makes the odd mistake because he's only human.

I'll back Moyes all the way.

For me - he's bringing the good days back to Everton FC.
The footy last season was a pleasure on the whole. NSNO

And with Everton's spirit. I'm backing our's to go out there and do it again!!!!!

I quite agree. Great post.

This is a happy day for the Goodison faithful. Moyes has now opened the door for Mr Wyness and he happily obliged and walked thru. I expect now after a couple of targets sign sealed and delivered Mr Moyes will sign on the dotted line. I really believe like some a power play was happening behind the scenes. Now this has been taken care off we should be off to the races.

Moyes is a special Manager. IMWT.(y)

Feergie was sniffing round DM when he was manager of preston,i cant see him going there unless he had a guarantee of being manager when Fergie kicks the bucket (cause lets face it he aint going nowhere till that happens)

Heard same rumour a few weeks back but cant see it happening. Not after all the hard work he has put into this club. BUT I wouldnt be suprised if his name is floating about when Ferguson retires in a few years. I hope by then we are a force in the CL.

Bit OTT that bit isnt it.

We've seen the best and worst of Moyes this week.

Being ballsy with the Hibbert decision and having the team fight like [Poor language removed] with City for a win. Then not going for a win against the bottom team in the league. Neville on, pushing our best midfielder up front and persisting with the ineffective one up front which barely works in these games.

It has been a season of deflections, so many I have lost count. Today saw him throw 2 new signings in. It isn't perfect, the team is still gelling - Don aint here full time, Gibson is still getting fit and settling. Bit harsh to plonk all the responsibility on Moyes.

It was his over pragmatic approach that hampered the team. We should have put them away.

I don't think Gibson will amount to much from us to be honest. Rodwell should be back in soon.
