Premier League: Everton's David Moyes charged despite apology from referee | Football | The Guardian

The Everton manager has not asked Rafael Benítez for advice, nor Marouane Fellaini, who became the club's £15m record signing on deadline day but is ineligible tonight. "I've not asked Fellaini and I won't ask him," claimed Moyes. "He has only just left the club and I don't want to put him in an awkward position. To be honest, I feel a bit uncomfortable about taking a good young player from a team we have now drawn in Europe but that's business, and Standard were happy to do business."

Do we believe him? I dont :P:lol:

Ill send him a personal email to the link were Fellini tells us all about them on the OS.

You can bet your ass the other players have asked him in terms of who there up against on the night, indivdual battles etc.

I was told. moyes has him in a S&M swing suspended from the roof of FF. An had the paddle an whip out on him....

Nothing to do with the opposition tonight.

Just because he likes it...

lol, yeah i think fellaini was more than happy to spill the beans to earn some brownie points with his new squad.

I know Fellaini wont play against Standard Liege but is it because the game is agianst his former team or because he is just not allowed to play in any UEFA cup game ?

Cup tied as he played for them against the [Poor language removed] in the Champs league qualifiers, before they got knocked out and dropped to the UEFA cup. Can play in the UEFA cup again after Jan which will be good for us as he will be there for the last few rounds.

It was an oscar worthy performance then Moyes looked very sincere when he said it. We all know Moyes has a lot of class, this doesn't seem too far fetched. Don't forget the club likely have a fair bit of information on them from tracking Fellaini and I think Moyes has personally seen them play 3 or 4 times recently.
