Moyes' Derby Record

"We have always managed to compete in derby matches. We have never suffered a really heavy defeat even when playing really strong Liverpool sides but I accept we probably haven't won as many as we should have done....You are looking to give your fans the result they want but the derby result isn't going to define our season".

Absolute pisstake this feller

He forgot to mention theres been some of the worst lpool sides in Recent history he has come up against in his tenure and lost or even as bad as raised the white flag to

And it was said the other day its the players and how its all about them maning up in derbys , having that down beat negative patter down ye lug hole leading up to big games (and Half Times) isn't exactly going to inspire is it , Lets hope someone let the fire alarm of in the hotel last night and made him angry today ala police escort in sunderland ;)

"...we probably haven't won as many as we should have done".

Yeah, 'probably' Moyesie.

FFS.

His record is quite frankly disgusting, against what has been in the last few years the worst Liverpool team and squad for generations. If he does his usual send the team out to get a 0-0 draw we'll get murdered by them. He needs to go out there on Sunday and a fire a message to the league that we're ready to challenge again. If we cannot beat them because our midfield isn't good enough due to 500k Darron Gibson being out, then our squad is nowhere near as good as any of us think it is. We best win, ffs.

Absolutely bang on

Record is there to break. It's about time to turn it around. I can sense that Everton is getting 3 points today.

if Moyes does go at some point in the not too distant future its his failure in these games that will completely tarnish his reputation for me, given the fact that we've won no trophies. Just look at Royles record in derbies - he knew what it meant to compete in these games and never lost one. It can be done, and Royle had (probably) a weaker squad than the one we have today, and Liverpool's was certainly at that time vastly superior to what we saw today.
