Nebbiolo

Valuation: £108 million
It's about time Moyes signed it, I think. No excuses can be used now that the window has slammed shut. If he signs it, I'm pretty confident we're still heading in the right direction. If not, then I am worried.

Agreed.

Time to sign.

I expect that to be the next "Breaking News" on the OS.

Sooner rather than later perhaps?

If moyes feel being let down by the chairman or feels he's not being back financially as he would have like to, I won't be surprise if don't sign.

It is worrying. I wonder whats going on upstairs in the boardroom. Whatever it is seems to be putting him off signing. The window is shut now so lets see what he does. Fight or flight ?

Aye - time to show his true colours.

5 year contract would give the right message. What still concerns me is that I read somewhere that Round had only signed a 1 year contract. Seems a little odd, so not really sure what to make of it.

Yes, time to sign Mr Moyes.

He has said some nice things about the Chairman and The Board in this article about Fellaini. The fact that it took 2 weeks to sign, the fast that the board backed him, reading between the lines I would even harbour a guess that Moutinho has been a smokescreen for the last fortnight. Who knows??

"Recent games have shown what he is all about and the hard part has been getting him here. We initially made contact with Standard two weeks ago, but then we drew them in the Uefa Cup and that really complicated things.
"It has taken some long, hard negotiations to get him. Standard had made it clear that under no circumstances did they want to sell him.
"But we were desperate to sign him and it took a real big effort from the board and the chairman to get there.

read it yourselves.

I think some people have been soo wrong about some things.

That would be the best news of the summer. Like him or hate him, and he isn't perfect, the man usually comes up trumps.

Get it signed David! (y)

Didnt he say its on the table waiting to sign a few weeks ago? Had to clear up a few things but its there waiting?

Come on! Put the pen to the paper and get it done.

All Moyes needs to do now is tell us he's gonna be around for a long time too. Sign zee papers Moyesy

I can definitely see Moyes signing now. I think if he was planning on leaving, he'd tell us with plenty of time to replace him, he's very aware of his place and that he's trying to create something at Everton, I dont think he would tarnish all the hard work he has done by keeping us hanging all season.

His focus clearly has been bringing players in, so I can see him signing a new contract before too long.

Now he's got in the player he wants after all the frustration of the summer, he can sign with a clear conscience. No reason why this can't happen by the weekend.

I think the players we already had will need to see this to lift them for the game.

Would Fellaini have signed a 5 year deal if Moyes had looked he was going in less than 1 year? doubtful to be honest.

Time for Moyes to sign and give our lads the focus and respect they deserve. Their performances have shown he has been missing on the training field.

Thats true Gaz, not only that Saha said Moyes won him over. I really cant imagine that line being, "Son, I'm off at the end of the season but its gonna be a cracking year, fancy it?"

Signature or not I can't help but feel he will be moving on before too long. I get the feeling that he is a highly valued manager for the top flight and a club with more financial backing will scoop him up.

Lets face it, if you were Moyes you'd probably be pretty frustrated with your work situation. Between tight budgets, stadiums and Board Room antics why not take a fat paycheck somewhere else and the transfer funds to realize your goals?
