Tx we need a back up for howard, james blunt certainly aint it. An i think were going to need a new striker as vaughne cant stay fit an vic isnt ready yet. in fact we could do with loaning vic out.

But thier are other area's we need to fill firts.
 

During the game yesterday it was noted he was one of the elder statesmen in the coaching ranks. I think that is a testimony for this club and Moyes himself. I admire his honest hard working approach in developing this team. We now are contending for a CL place instead of looking over our shoulders in a relegation battle. He has been a bulkhead to our program and we need to keep him at all costs. I think he knows we will do our best to compensate him and be fair in transfer funds going forward to improve this squad.

If Moyes isn't given at least 20-22 million in the summer, we might aswell give up.
 
I don't think it is going to be so much an exact amount. Moyes is going to outline his intended targets and go down the list until he gets one. BK will fund him as he sees fit. Remember, this silly money from the TV deal is going to run out real soon, right now teams are way overspending for average players. Hopefully, Moyes will just continue to haggle the good prices and when the TV money balloon bursts we will be there, in good financial health ready to compete.
 

Moyes spent just over £21m last summer. BK was prepared to give an extra £12m for Fernandes/ Lucho so i reckon he will have at least £20m to spend again this summer.
 
Heres hoping for that type of funding for quality. But like Dylan says when the bubble bursts who will be left standing. A strong academy is essential for our teams survival.

I hate this speculation as to what we can and cannot afford. If others have some idea what we have then prices automatically go up. Moyes track record is better than most, if he's got £20 mil that should be motre than enough to keep us going forward

In Moyes we trust
 

I remeber the same posts last year, he will be given money and he will spend it wisely we have no reason not to trust bill or davey after they blew us all away last summer.

Since Moyes has been in charge every summer he has been given more and more money per season, i see no reason why this season will be any different. I dont really see Bill as a fan not wanting to spend money, if he doesnt theres a reason and it will be in the best intrests of the club.

He will be given what he needs.
