Tbh when they started mentioning Moyes to take over from Koeman, I thought that was a way of getting us to back Ron. I can't believe the managers we are being linked with, honestly this must be just a bad dream and I will wake up in a min, right lads?

We're havng to pay the piper for that early summer "FC sexy" optimism but with rumours of Moyes return I really think it is heading into cruel and unusual punishment territory.

What if he accepts the job on the terms of short term cover to stabilise? He may think if he gets decent results he can stay on, nothing to lose really seeing he isn't getting lined up for any other big jobs. (depends if you call the Scotland gig big granted)

Thus is the life of an Everton supporter, we are destined to be the Baldrick to all the other clubs Blackadders.

I did try to warn people to enjoy it as it may never get any better than this when we were signing players left, right and especially centre midfield just off a number 9 that we don't have.

Fingers crossed we get back to those heady days where the grass smelt sweeter, children laughed longer and a carefree attitude filled our lungs and heart with nourishment off the back of two painful seasons.
 

No joke I've been thinking are all these Allardyce and Dyche type stories being leaked by the club to get us to a point where hiring Old Bills mate Davey again isn't such a bad option as once thought. On a side note, has anyone seen my tin foil hat?
 
Frankly signing Moyes back... I think that would be too tough a pill to swallow and there is no way Moshiri is buying that he is the 2nd coming of the Moyesiah!
