He's not a bell of the highest order. He's worked to the letter of his EFC contract, which he is perfectly entitled to do. He wasn't exactly backed massively in the transfer market by the board in the January transfer window. He's seeing where we're going first, and where we might end up, before he commits himself. The flip side is that there are no clubs sniffing around him, the Chelsea talk is just bollocks because he doesn't fit what they look for and Abramovich isn't going to radically change his decision making. Nor would Moyes radically change his philosophies to go there. Wenger is still at Arsenal, Ferguson is at Utd and not going anywhere yet, AVB is settled at Spurs, and Citeh are highly unlikely. that leaves no other jobs better than Everton.
