Moyes after three

Why are we always skint, yet compete in the most lucrative league in the world, and have had top 10 finishes for nearly 5 years.

Something stinks here.

I do not have the figures or anything to hand, but this is covered somewhere on GOT.
I hope the more knowledgable guys forgive me for this simplification:
10 years ago we were deep in it, now we are not so deep and if the banks called in their debts tomorrow, Everton survive. Many other Premieships clubs do not.

We do not have disposable income, but we do not have the massive debt.

Just been chatting to my Citeh mates this weekend about taking one of their forwards on loan.

They said that Santa Cruz is far and away the best team player, no ego involved. Be good for Everton.

They also said to have Jo again!

Sounds like your doing the negotiation for Moylez there..

Get Jo in/on!

It's debt that Bill inherited that we've never been able to pay off.

In 08-09, from an operating profit of £6.3m, we paid out £4.1m in interest on a £37.9m debt. When we sell players like Rooney and Lescott, that gets reinvested in the team. Other than that, we're just keeping our heads above water. I'd much sooner that we manage our finances prudently, with the aim of going into profit like Stoke or West Brom, than going hundreds of millions of pounds into debt trying to keep up with the mega-rich.

His comment yet again are doin my head in.

Hes said we could get a striker but he doesnt know if a striker is the problem and doesnt know that until we get someone in....

Wtf? You either think your strikers are [Poor language removed] and you need another or you dont. Hes still not sure

That was unreal. He's said after the last game that we're creating the chances by the bucket load. Erm...that would mean the strikers aren't much cop then wouldn't it?

It's kind of the same as the England goalkeeping problem during the World Cup. No one knows what the pecking order is. If Yakubu was confident that, if he outperformed Saha that the starting place was his, then he'd probably put a shift in. If Beckford thought that grabbing a goal or two would guarantee him an extended run in the team, he wouldn't try so desperately to prove to Moyes that he's ready to start at this level. It's the same with the likes of Vaughan, Anichebe and Baxter. They know that they'll never get a fair chance to stake a claim in their preferred position.

i hate to bring bad news but if what i hear is right, we won't be getting landon in January. and pienaar Will be gone in the window.
