You know what they say about opinions though mate.

Dark Knight for me was pretty rubbish. Batman begins was miles better and Nolans best film is Memento.

300 and watchmen were better graphic novel adaptations than Sin City...but we all think differently about the same things

I just love dark & gritty films.....

Did you seriously put Tropic Thunder in the Movies of the Decade list?

That reminds me, I need to watch Zodiac, had it ages but not got round to watching it yet.

Harry, he's here to help

Sure, why not? I pissed myself laughing at the cinema and that for me was a good movie experience.

I think Cruise plays the funniest studio executive in the history of Cinema.

Did you put Blade Runner in the list?? That was made in 1982!

And as for Blade 2....watch Blade 1 and tell me how Whistler is still alive. Its up there with the biggest sequel let downs ever made for mine...but thats just my opinion.

Old Boy....definitely was going in there if I had more time, great pick.

No No, I picked Blade Runner - The Final Cut released in 2007. I know I blatantly cheated, but it's one of my total favourites. And the original was a disgrace and proof that film editors should be lined up and shot.

I guess Tropic Thunder went over my head. Agreed on Superbad though, that literally made me piss.

I much prefer the Blade sequel - apart from the Bros connection. I was actually torn between Blade 2, Pan's labyrinth and Hellboy as any/all of Del Torro's films could be in my list.

Can't wait for his Hobbit films by the way. Any idea when they are due?

Oh and as for Whistler, I agree. He was rubbish anyway, he should have stayed dead. Apparently "..... Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) was killed off in BLADE, but within the first 15 pages of BLADE 2 Whistler is brought back from the dead. It seems he was only "turned" by the Vampires and was now one of them. Blade of course rescues him, and gives him the "cure.""

The Hobbits got a release date in 2011, could be anytime I think.

I reckon it was more the executives on Blade Runner that would have made those cuts. Movie Studios have a funny way of exerting their power.

I'd check out a book called 'Down and Dirty' by Peter Biskind about how guys like the Weinstein brothers would completely dismantle a Directors vision. There's a great story about Del Toro when he was directing 'Mimic'. They actually fired Del Toro during the picture and it was Mira Sorvino who refused to work unless he was rehired.

I'd watch Tropic Thunder again, I guess working in the Industry maybe it is alot funnier for me...when Cruise tells the Key grip to punch Director Cockburn in the face while he's eating breakfast. Love it.
