Its not like Everton to declare interest, so either Wyness knows the fans are fed up, and are giving them hope, or we are close to striking a deal, or both...

...Id prefer Veloso myself, then throw in fernandes too, have an all portugese midfield!! mwahahahaha

And see if we could prize away Ronaldo from Manure while we're at it!! :P:o

My cousins sisters next door neighbours cat has just come back from America and he said he heard Moyes on the phone discussing a transfer, he didnt hear any names, but he said that Everton will defo sign a player sometime before 2010.

Good source never lets me down.

We are only paying 20 million Euros supposedly which will not get him. Sporting's board would be crucified if they let him go for 15 million, it's an unfair price to be honest considering how important he is. Players like Nani have went for more so it's only fair.

It's very dissapointing to be honest, if we pay the money we'll get him but again it seems to be a stumbling block and where wasting time.

Anyway, we'll see what happens but I can't see us getting him for 15/16 million.

Don't want ot put a dampner on things, but just read this from the Echo.. i know, its a [Poor language removed] rag

Moyes: “Maybe it is a little bit easy for them. We don’t have enough players to cope with what we have got just now. It’s a big concern.

“We can’t hide the fact that we need new players. Everybody knows it. We have to get five or six players in before the season starts.”

When asked if he could see any imminent movement in the transfer market - Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Moutinho tops the wanted list - Moyes replied: “Not at the moment, no. We are in a poor, poor situation regarding going forward.”
