I am worrying that in 1st scenario Moutinho could be too lighweight to play in Arteta position and he won't make it on the wing, even in narrow midfield like we play. Second system doesn't really suit our current squad, unless we would play Anichebe as RW and use Coleman as attacking full back

Moutinho was a perfect option for us before we moved Arteta to the centre, now he would be a very expensive squad player, we could do with another playmaker, but cheaper and someone who could do as back up.

If we had such money laid around - then as a backup to Arteta then yes.... but in terms of priorities a pacey winger is the biggest priority for us overall.

I cant see this happening to be honest, last time we tried to buy him we wanted to spread the payments over 5 years and they wanted it all upfront. So unless we can get our way their is no way we can afford him

I believe Petrov isn't good enough for us to be a starter anymore and he's too old on too high wages to be a back up.
