Absolutely appalling attitude. A couple of bursts forward at the Euro's fooling people here? Played an entire season as an attacking player with a goal and assist return about as good as Cleverley. Not the first season he's been shockingly poor too.

Would be an abomination of a signing for any price. Don't want people like this in our squad.

He should be able to link up well with Negredo and a few others that we were strongly linked with and then moved elsewhere.

Because there is no real information coming out of Goodison and there is already a suggestion that we wanted Witsel we will be linked with every central/defensive midfielder the media can think of.

almost certainly our management team will have discussed and thought about dozens of players that just may be available and I am sure he would have been one of those...that doesn't mean he is definitely signing.

Moshiri did not get rich by spending money stupidly. I would guess that deals may not be happening as quickly as we would like because as usual we spend our money carefully...or try to.
I doubt that we will spend lavishly on any players unless they are a really top name.

Andy Hunter gets genuine info, at least it shows there is a meeting going on, but do have the feeling we are starting to scrape the barrel.

£35 million hahaha, he is worth around 15 million at tops.

Such a limited player who relies on his attributes of power and pace, watching him i have never seen a player have such bad awareness of what is going on around him, never sees the right pass ever.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was the "statement of intent" signing.

If wijnaldum and mane are going for £25m and £38m respectively then he is easily worth £35m. They arent so he isnt but you get my point.

i dont mind Everton being circumspect if the alternative is massively overspending on mediocrity like those two.

Got to say, on the few occasions I've watched Newcastle, he has always stood out for me as one of their better players. Saying that, due to the lack of quality in their team, that's not saying much. But 35m is at least 10m too much imo.

You must have caught his better games. Nowhere near the end of season player of the year vote, and never is. I think that says it all.
