I went for Pienaar, the only 1 prepared to take the game to United. Shocking performances (pens aside) from Baines & Neville

Howard for me solely for his penalty saves. He has'nt got near to many of the pens he has faced in an Everton shirt but what a time to put that right. Fellaini, Jags and Peanuts where also in contention for MOTM.

Pienaar for me, through his effort, I thought Everton began slow pacing themselves after 90 minutes I wondered when the offensive was gonna begin.

I cursed Hibbert on many occasions (I'm one of his critics) but as the game was well into the second half, I thought he did well in getting in some very vital tackles.
