No question really, it has to be Jagielka. Anyone who doesnt think that should slap themselves over the head for knowing nothing about football.:P

Even the most ardent Arteta followers can't suggest he put in a man of the match performance last night.

consider myself slapped, i voted for arteta. When were not good he's the only one who looks a decent player. Although i do think jags was a close second

Did you? I thought he never looked comfortable last night, all his clever touches and confidence on the ball were missing.

I hate the way he waits and waits and waits to make a pass and then when he does release the ball the runner is in an offside position or is being picked up by a marker.

He needs to sort it out.

Very unlike him, he gave the ball away a lot and didnt complete passes first half too. But he was being moved all over the shop last night, maybe that had a negative impact.

Your probably right mate, everyone else seems to agree. Not only have we had a [Poor language removed] week or so but now i know nothing about footy too:D.
The way i saw it last night was if osman and cahill played like arteta it would have been a lot better, he's the only one capable of creating. Im too depressed to talk about everton now, its our lowest point in the moyes era for me because we are going nowhere. We play defensive long ball stuff usually and because were good at it in the past we make ourselves believe were a decent team. We're not, what we are is average. I want to see attractive footy, were we pass it around and create. Even if we dont win anything at least its entertaining to watch!
You watch all those decent teams in europe etc and its nice to look at. Arsenal one touch footy is ace but the team that i have to support havent strung 10 passes together for 20 years (apart from last night when liege's tactics allowed it). Were supposed to be a great club with a great history but weve evolved into a club known for boring footy. Like i said im depressed, i dont want to think about efc anymore. (until sunday of course)

Im really not sure what has happened to Mikel this season. It could still be attributed to his injury he had last year that can be affecting his fitness, but to me it just looks like he's lost pace and, dare I say it, heart.

Anyway, my MoM was probably Jags. I thought Baines, though generally OK, made a few mistakes and although Pip did appear to try his best, I reckon im personally a better central midfielder than he is... and that isn't even my natural position. Says it all really.

Must say also... im glad Stevie P is back. Kept the ball and passed it well for the time that he was on. We've missed him.

Ha ha:D

Dont let it get ya down mate, we'll pick up eventually, I think the players confidence is rock bottom right now but that happens. Grit your teeth, get through the bad patch cos theres always better football up ahead.

Thats what I thought too, instantly he got back to his old game and made passes that opened up space for our attack. We'll be more potent up front with him back in the frame.
