Dodgy stream didnt help, listened to the 2nd half on the wireless on the way home from work. The jist I got was that we never bothered to play the ball, both sides were seeing how far they could kick the thing. Very few periods of solid possession. Few chances.

I like seeing Jags bomb it down the flank though so I'll give it to him even though he probably didnt have much to do.

Lescott looked composed all game and almost scored at the end. Outmuscled some powerful players a couple of times.

I hate playing without Jagielka in the center though, Roberts should've scored when he got in between Lescott and Yobo and Loveknrands did the same thing in the Newcastle. I don't think those two have ever looked comfortable in a pairing but both look really assured next to Jags. Jacobsen should've been given a game to keep Phil from having to change position, hasn't Gosling been a right back through most of his development?

I was expecting more from Rodwell, perhaps too much for someone so young, and I thought Jo looked out of his league.
