This season's been too f'ed up to say...most recent improvement is down to outlook/attitude of the whole squad IMO. Next season will be a truer litmus test.

Dead heat - Beto and Mykolenko. Agree 100% with the ‘must keep Gana’ camp - has to be worth another season. Mention in dispatches for O’Brien too. Showed what he can do when freed from the Dyche shackles.

Beto looks not dissimilar to the player he was before, but with the added confidence that a run of games and a few goals brings.

Gana. I remember his first season back, dwelling unnecessarily on the ball, poor control, lack of awareness at times.

He is basically flawless now.

Underrated take.

He was only a defensive, defensive mid prior to PSG

I mean he's not Pirlo now, but he's MUCH better on the ball than he was 5 years ago, has scored some great goals for us, and he still has everything you want defensively.

He's also always fit. Given the position he plays that's incredible
