Rooney. By far.Which player did you despise most when they played at Goodison?

I hated Dave McKay the most. Never seemed interested in winning the ball, just hurt the opponent…take your pick of ‘that’ Leeds team but I suppose Billy Bremner epitomised everything bad about them. As far as the RS go, i despised that 60s kit and Ron Yeats looked a monster leading his team out.
Tough men.

First RS I really truly hated and honestly despite rush and everything he did to us it was probably Gerard and Suarez that came next .He single handedly changed the mood of Merseyside derbies. The exceptions were 84 Milk Cup and Charity Shield, and 89 Cup Final.
Otherwise a nastiness came over many rs that was not there before his 'tragic' blurting in front of many Evertonians who had come out to congratulate the rs EC win.
From this is anfield:
"(Tommy) Smith has since said he believed this caused bad blood with the Everton fans and spoilt the attendance at his testimonial shortly afterwards."
Still, may he RIP. Apparently he apologized afterwards.
Gerrard.
The quintessential gobshite. Everthing about the man is grim - violent bully, arrogant, self obsessed, overinflated, sly, no integrity whatsoever. It was the greatest piece of cosmic justice that he was denied ever being a league winner, largely down to his own hubris.
One of my my happiest memories was that ringpiece knee sliding the width of Goodison to celebrate with the orcs just to have the goal ruled offside.
Horrible human being.
You can pretty much take your pick when it comes to that lot, lads...E. Hughes. S.Gerard. L.Suarez.
Not necessarily in that order, but thhese guys are everything to dislike.
I know its only football, its not important, but these vile plebs are horrendous as Everton goes.
Im sure there are more ...
