Most Boring June ever

This has to be the most boring June ever for Everton transfer activity or even rumours. The BBC Sport Everton page has not filed a story since June 17th and that was about our pre season fixtures. Newsnow links are almost all about James McFadden leaving Birmingham. The only half live story is Engelaar and I'm fairly sure he'd be a waste of money. Today's most interesting story is that the Yak is getting married.

Has anyone out there got any reason to believe we may see some activity this week or next?

Next week, euro's are done and dusted so players will be re-focusing on their domestic football so will want transfers sorted asap. Moyes also arrives back off holliday so i expect some news toward the end of next week. Actually its probably hope more than expectation, it is us remember so we will probably be waiting till the last 24 hours of the summer window till we get our first signing, but you're right it has been the most boring june ever for efc fans.

Dont we very rarely sign anyone in June, what with players and managers being away, yul find some deals are already in the pipeline!

I think a lot of contracts run out at the end of June- so therefore the 1st July is when it all starts.

Loads of these sites around, but most of there stories appear on Newsnow. They are generally created so the webmaster can make some wonga out of advertising and click throughs.

Or maybe because its red and that's just not right.

We've been linked to everyone from Anderson to Zidane this off season! Im glad for the hype to fade out actually.

I've got a sneaky feeling that we've already had someone in for a medical. I work for a company called Iris who provide the ticketing software to Everton. We were scheduled to play a friendly 7 a side game against Everton staff last week and it got cancelled at the last minute. One of our reps had a meeting booked down at Finch Farm on the same day, turned up and it was all locked down. They wouldn't let anyone in. It's highly possible that I'm reading too much into it tho.

Ye this has been a crap month, doing my head in. I need us to sign somone badley to stop my craving. I think it's made worse because we were linked with 10 different players a day a while back an then.......nothing.
