@davek was 100% right on this chump. I was not the biggest fan of Barry as I thought his lack of pace held us back but you couldn’t deny that in his peak he was a top player who remained a top professional throughout his career at every club he was at. Schneiderlin is a chancer who plays for no one but his bank balance. Van Gaal and Koeman gave him ridiculous contracts and he’s sauntered about ever since. Complete fraud.

It says it all when I wish we had a 48 year old Barry instead of him.

Because he was being overhyped back then, as I tried to tell you.

He's bang average, we had midfielders falling out of cupboards and that Dutch divvy threw £20M at United for him when he could barely get on their bench.

Others knew best though. I doff my cap to their judgement.
Hasn’t got the mentality to play when he’s under pressure. When everything is swimming along he’s okay. True nature found out big time when we were in a downward spiral under Koeman and went missing when we were scrapping our way out of bottom three under Unsworth.

Horrible horrible player who is earning a fortune yet looking like he cannot be bothered to even run around for 90 minutes once a week. Would be over the moon if he never pulled on our shirt again. What Allardyce sees in him to continue selecting him is baffling. It's bad enough having one negative crab in midfield in Gueye, but pairing him up with this chancer is unforgivable. To then go and play them both alongside a not even match fit McCarthy may just be the most perplexing thing I've ever seen from a football manager... against a team so in decline and in such horrific form, when players such as Niasse, Rooney, Vlasic, Lookman, heck even Bolasie are available to be used. Just beggars belief it really does.

The writing was on the wall after 1 min when that Bournemouth player just went past him like he wasn't there. I suppose we could use him and super Kev as goalposts when we practice pens at FF.

Yep. 1 minute 20 into the game he got done like a kipper by (with all due respect) a bournmouth player

Think he’s survived a while on reputation whilst he’s been at Everton but in reality he’s not worth half a Lee Carsley

He was really good in some games last season but has completely lost it. No pace, no forward passes, no imagination, good sliding tackles.

We really must hope that Moyes makes an offer.

When he first got here he was really good and exactly what we needed but only really showed it at Goodison. This season he's been slow, weak and terrible on the ball. Unfortunately yesterday I don't think Gana or McCarthy could last 90 and we paid for it having to leave this clown out there

I remember speaking to a Liverpool B fan when they were having that good season after selling all their players, and Pochettino left. He was saying they were doing so well because they didn’t sell Schneiderlin and he was their best player.

What was that bloke on about?!

Hold on now lads. He can pass it 30 yards out wide to a completely isolated full back.

Surely that out weighs the negatives of him not being able to run, track players or tackle.
