Wouldn't be bothered if we binned him and McCarthy and brought in Carvalho.
Think people decided he was class when we signed him, but his performances certainly haven't warranted it.

He was superb in a lot of games last season.

He's an excellent player going through a rough patch of form. It happens.

We know he's a good player, the midfield balance doesn't seem right around him. I don't like the partnership of him and Gueye, both are good players but seem to be more dominant if the other is missing. I'd like to see Davies partnering one of the other in a deeper role (unless Klaasen suddenly is able to do this)

We've had some tactical issues this season no doubt. But playing a midfielder with no experience of defending at centre half doesn't sound wise to me.
