Great range of passing. Mostly forward passes. Got the ball to Barkley as offten as possible. 2 poor passes, one of which he got away with.

He was maybe less agressive in the tackle than I thought, but would put that down to lack of matches recently.

Thought he was the best outfield player on the pitch.

I think what his debut did for me is underline The transformation of the team. Ok we are in our customary seventh place but the direction of travel is only one way. We have just gone to the Uber grocks of the league, the classic Stoke on a wet Wednesday, and dumped their most creative player literally on his head (no accident) and had their manager complaining about our intimidation of the referee. I for one thank god we now have a team with some steel and arrogance (at last)
