He MAY have done it in the past. Certainly not for us at any point.

The fact that he's not played for France in 4 years (despite being in his prime years, 26-30) speaks volumes about his recent performances versus those in the past.
Yeah he’s not very good, I’m agreeing with you. I’m just saying he’s not utterly useless, and the insistence that he is is a bit daft. He’s an average PL central midfielder nowadays, no more and no less. He was a colossal waste of money and I’d happily see him released on a free tomorrow, I just think people have it in for him and so magnify everything in a way they dont for certain others.

He really can. He’s not very good but the idea that he’s the worst player on the pitch every time he plays is just a bit silly. You don’t get 20 odd France caps and picked by all the managers he has if you’re useless.

Genuinely don’t think I’ve seen him make a tackle in 3 years.

I've never known a player be so absent in games.

The position he plays in was made popular by the likes on Makalele, Kante and to an extent, Gana. But he just let's the game pass home by with zero energy.

Gareth Barry had more energy than this guy in his final season!!
Barry didn't have to move very fast as his reading of the game and the basic understanding of what range of pass he should be attempting ( and more than likely completing ) means he didn't have to . He was aggressive but he used it in a measured way . He tracked back , a novel concept our dear Morgan cannot or can't be bothered to understand .
I don't think I have hated a midfielder so much since Nyarko . I hated Barmby just as much but for different reasons. At least that smarmy sod moved and passed the ball forwards .
Didn't this mercenary do an interview claiming that his job isn't to run about or pass the ball forward ?

Got sent off for 2 at palace...

I can’t believe I’m defending him here, I hated him before any of you! I even posted before he signed about him failing at United suggesting he had a poor mentality. I don’t have any affinity for him, I just don’t hate him as much as some of you do. Sorry.

its worth the effort mate, give it another go

It was the training incident with Mirallas that sealed his reputation for me. Refusing to participate when the club were trying to assist someone in giving them a training session to oversee was extremely petty.

There is something about Schneiderlin over and above his clear disdain for physical effort and commitment that people, myself included appear to react to and dislike on a disproportionate level.

I don't even think I have ever heard the man speak but I haven't seen him play in an Everton shirt ever, mind.

He is about as useful as a cardboard cut-out in midfield. At least Siggy used to have a goal him in him but this guy offers nothing all day long.

It's the little things about this idiot that wind me up, If he got up off the floor quicker and chased him down the goal doesn't happen, Why isn't he charging him down? Cause he's a gutless coward.
The pathetic attempt to stop Bouffal from crossing for the goal, The lad just went past him without him making it difficult for him at all, Boom 1-1.
He doesn't try at all and he's on 100k a week, Disgusting.

I don't think he is average any more, technically yes, but Premiership players generally have a certain level of grit or determination about them. Schneiderlin doesn't seem to want to burst a gut to win and at an age where he should at his peak he seems satisfied to be a squad player and just pick up his salary.

After this summer he will only have a year left on his contract and just maybe he will want to return to France.

He is the only Everton player I hate, this is because he is a good player....when he can be arsed. I’d have more respect for him if he was a poor player who put a shift in. Morgan Cantbearsed the sooner he is out of this club the better I will be pleased.
