2019/20 Morgan Schneiderlin

We are in a real bind here having to rely on Schneiderlin in any capacity.

Hopefully Delph will be fit sooner rather than later.

I can't quite figure out what happened to him, not so long ago deemed good enough to join Man Utd and on the fringes of the French squad.

Whilst I have empathy for any personal issues he might have faced he is supremely fortunate to be in the position he is in professionally and to be frank, personal issues are not an excuse for such limp performances.

He seems to just hover around contributing nothing in a positive sense and only drawing attention to himself negatively by making mistakes or acting petulantly.

He doesn't resemble a professional footballer at any level, let alone a Premier league one. He looks lost and unhappy on the pitch but still content to pick up his salary. This sort of attitude is poison in a squad and contributes in large part to the collective poor attitude we saw on Friday evening as soon as we went a goal down.

We seem to have it most of the time against most team's, but I take your point you do need to protect your back four. It's just Morgan is so ponderous physically and on the ball and Gomes isn't very swift either. It's not a good mix, Delph and Gomes is probably the best at the moment. Or even a three.
That I agree with. The lack of tempo itself is problematic, but his lack of physical attributes is why he's simply not good enough.

This whole paragraph is nonsense

20 seconds into the match the ball went in the air 50/50 between him and the little imp player. Who won the duel. Well there want any because the imp player was the only one who jumped. This waste of a player stood and looked. 6 seconds later goal. What really bothers me is it never even enyered his mind to challange. It sums up everything about him.
