But he wasn't known for anything? Chico used to jizz over him during his first few months in his pre match previews.

To be fair if he was coated in jizz every time he played well then I can understand his aversion to putting in a shift. But he wasn't known for anything? Chico used to jizz over him during his first few months in his pre match previews.

In his first 6months he was a very good player, theres no need to rewrite history.
Hes been mainly utter tosh since, but to say hes always been rubbish is a lie.
He was much better than what we had in central midfield for that half season after we bought him in January. He was a breath of fresh air b/c he had some semblance of technical ability.Nah he was bog standard.

Ever since, he's been the worst player, pound for pound, that we've had
And that's not hyperbole
I honestly don't think he's any better than Tobias Linderoth. I know people want him to come good but he's not outstanding in any way.
Sorry if I've missed it above but can someone give me a balanced, fair rating for how he did? Im assuming Delph and Schneiderlin were a horrible pairing. I just can't see any energy or drive - just neat, nice passing which would work in Italy or Spain but only if there was a highly energetic midfielder or pacy defenders around him.
