Virtually pointless against teams that sit back. Same could be said for Davies really. They aren’t adventurous enough and don’t add anything going forward apart from a decent ball out wide (which we didn’t have available because Richy was out). Morgan is made for teams that apply pressure as he can hit the wingers on the counter.

davies does try and get forward a bit tbf, but he'd need to have two centre mids behind him to properly flourish, and well, we will always have a better player who could do that. He is a bit restricted from his natural game having to play deeper imo.

He did have a free role in his first year. If he is going to make it in this league though, he needs to adapt to that position. The wings are stocked with talent whereas we are a little thin in the middle. It’s a shame he’s been thrown into the spotlight so early.

He is a sitter without the playmaking ability. I’m not concerned about his ability to defend and make tackles. As you said, I’m not sure he is the greatest fit- especially without Richarlison as an outlet

Cant believe the pass this guy gets because he has slightly improved from the dross he was last season!

A couple of motivational tweets from his PR team does not make him good enough for us
He was the senior member of our midfield on Saturday? And were was he? Stat padding with his simple 5-10 yard passes, not taking any risks, not even attempting to do anything pro active! Just get the ball and give it to someone else (usually Davies who would actually at least attempt something pro active and get lambasted if it dosent go right)
He left all the responsibility on Davies on Saturday, an absolute coward
