If he is going to game time for Wolves this season there is absolutely no reason for him to seek a move to Everton.

That isn't the problem for Wolves , it is the player reportedly not prepared to sign a new contract.

If that is true then Wolves are simply preparing him for some other club.

He's reportedly upset about being called back from a loan at Swansea only to be left on the bench and not play at all. That was under Nuno. Lage has been making positive noises about him but it might be too late. I'd suspect only guaranteeing him a starting place will keep him at Wolves. Whether he would join us or sign somewhere else though is another question

No player can get a guaranteed starting place, it has to be on merit.

If MGW is going to sign a contract it will probably have a buy out clause but why would he rush into a new contract.

Wolves are on trial here not him.
