Any tips on how to sort the Moobs out?

Chico was telling me about a similar problem, but I think he likes wearing womens clothes.

I do a lot of cardio, twice a week at the moment for an hour each, I'm cutting down on food intake. I know I need to do weights but not keen on the free weights with all the steds, prefer the resistance machines.

Any tips?

i do my cardio in the morning, before work, before i've eaten anything. you are much more likely to burn fat off that way.

not that i need to do much mind, i'm pretty much the definition of physical perfection. i'm a goddamn miracle of modern science.

Well isn't that hard to do seen as you have not taken on any fuel to burn? Where do you get the energy from.

I'm not a scientist by any stretch of the imagination, not fulltime anyway - but surely you need energy to run.

Diet and excercise mate, that's it. You could also do with some chest exercises like chest press and flys to firm it up.

Its incredibly easy once you get into the routine mate. Make it happen in May.

Have you got massively fatter since I last seen you then?

It might be more exercise than you have been doing, but that is not "a lot" of exercise. And you can have all the trained abs or chest muscles you want but if you have fat covering them up it's not doing a lot of good (if getting rid of them is what you want to do).

Flabby, fat body (moobs) = lack of exercise + too much energy intake (food and drink). Your job is also not helping to improve the situation one little bit so you have to compensate for it on top (believe me, I've been there). Exercise more and cut down on intake.

But you know all this anyway. If it isn't working, you aren't doing enough of it. And just to make you feel even better, you are getting on a bit now. So for every decade you need to do 10% more exercise just to stay in the same shape (so they say).

If possible, get a side job (or hobby) that gets you running around a bit. Or get a dog.

Did you just give advice there?

Nope not at all.

The plan is to start swimming again when I feel confident. At the moment I'm just sweating it out in the gym twice a week, although only once this week so far due to the family thing yesterday, but plan to go tomorrow.

I have a routine of 1 hour solid cardio, I'm cutting down on food intake, and mainly stodgy stuff, and going to eat more fruit.

I can't cut bread out completely, so going to have wholemeal bread. I'm on low fat to fat free yoghurts too.

Great info there.

An hour of cardio a week is not much unless you have a strict diet to supplement it. I always remember something I read about how many times you go to the gym:

once a week is maintenance, twice a week is maintenance and some progress, three times a week is progress.

Did you just give advice there?

I'm a lifestyle coach mate.
