Robert Jarvis

Player Valuation: £35m
Yes that is my view of our club's performance in this transfer window. Moyes at the beginning said he needs 5/6 players in and that was before Lescott did a bunk. Not counting the youngsters what have we got, Distin, Jo on loan (again) Billy boy and possibly Hetty. We have still not got enough CB cover, will still have to use Hibbert, no cover either for LB, still missing out on a CM.

Haven't we done well!!!! Ah!

From start to finish, what a mess beginning with the 2 kyles fiasco and now we hear he is unhappy (), then the Leeds young lad Delph, not to mention chasing Defour. Hetty move nearly grinding to a halt on personal terms which may now be sorted. But to cap it all we get a work permit for a player before we actually know if we can have him, watch for the egg coming, duck! So Banega is staying put.

Then all the stupid business over Lescott, either we should have sold him at the right price straight away or stuck to our guns and said no, you can sulk as much as you like. The truth is though we had to sell him because we needed the money to bring in new players. I believe that the early dealings fell through because the kitty was down to a couple of pennies.

Ghost I am not being negative just saying as it is from my eyes. As for our signings what few they are, Distin will I think do a good job and Billy boy could well be a revelation anyway better than Osman.

You may now shoot me down.

I don't know. If Heitinga signs & we get a midfielder, then I think we'll have got exactly what we needed. Our timing leaves a lot to be desired as these deals should ideally be completedin July, before we lose our first two games of the season.

You just wouldnt put it past Everton doing it all at last minute would you mate.

We must be top of the Prem suspense league.

If we get Heitinga and a GOOD centre mid then I will be delighted. If not I'll be unbelievably disappointed. It's in the balance for me.

Distin - plays LB or CB
Heitinga - Plays RB, CB or DM
Billy - Plays LW, CM, RW, AM
Jo - Striker, Support striker

Arteta, Yak, Jags to come back. Rodwell looks prem class, Gosling and Ossie are good solid squad players.

We dont have THAT much cash. Do we need to splash cash on a massively talanted CM who will be dropped for Arteta when he comes back?

Need another winger IMO as we've adaptable players who can play many positions but no quality cover to fill in the hole. I think our transfers so far have brought in quality rather than fillers (Jacobsen, Castilo). We've brought in players who are internationals fighting for 1st team places.

Get Bentley in and I'll be happy.

oh give it a rest ay, you knew it wasnt going to be brilliant.. wever never had a briliant summer of transfers. We dont have much money, we dont have big wages to attract players. Just stop moaning ffs.

I'd be happy with a creative midfielder (outwide or central) and Heitinga.

If it's just Heitinga though I'll be disappointed, I've got to say.

Thing is - many clubs have found it difficult to bring in talent early due to the increased value put on players as an indirect effect of the Real Madrid factor.

More players are always signed on deadline day than any other day. Why? Who knows, but it's not new. As is why I suggested the deadline was pushed back before the season.
