I think it's sound to be fair, although it makes it very easy to park yourself at the bar and spend a packet without thinking about it. Also contactless takes longer to show on your online account than pin transactions so can lull you into a false sense of securityI've got seriously big concerns over this contactless stuff.
Not sure how secure it is and that.
No it's not.Your Ma only takes cash so I have to make a weekly withdrawal before I make a deposit.......
That aside, card lad, it's 2015 ffs
Contactless refers to the latest balance stored on the chip, which is refreshed each time you make a regular chip and pin transaction on a network-connected terminal. If you want your Contactless transactions to come through, just do a chip and pin purchase.I think it's sound to be fair, although it makes it very easy to park yourself at the bar and spend a packet without thinking about it. What exactly are your concerns? You can only make 3 consecutive Contactless purchases before you will be required to 'dip the chip' in order to refresh your balance, so in terms of having your card nicked you're only really at risk of £90 spend.I've got seriously big concerns over this contactless stuff.
