how do you know it is rushed ? This could of been long in the planning . People like moshiri I highly doubt they very rarely make knee jerk appointments for the sake of it .

I mean In the sense that, it seemed widely known we wanted monchi? Unless that wasn't true of course and a different target was in mind.

If we don't get number 1, i hope we don't settle for number 2 and instead just wait until the perfect opportunity arises.
 
Seems to have gone quiet this one. If we are getting one, wish theywould get on it and start signing players, I'm being impatient this summer, we have coin for once.
 
as far as im aware with a DOF/Manager combination.

The manager says, we're lacking in this position (so, lets say Goalkeeper)...

He needs to have quality X, Y and Z,.... DOF will find, suggest names, Manager says his preferences and Dof takes it fully from there.

Means the manager can solely focus more on the pitch side of things, rather than low-level negotiation or contacting.
 

My take is that we won't rush a DOF if suitable candidate isn't available at the minute and we won't delay transfer business till one is employed as even though that's their job it's far too risky in case it drags on into early August.
