So because DCL started the season great, we had to loan him?
Got loaned out for economics, maintain his value. For me he is mardy spoilet get, and trouble and distractions will never be far away. Hopefully he will hold it together and the balance sheet miss another hit. Could he come back the matured balanced grown up little chance...

Over the next 6 months what we should be gearing up for what will be a champions League competing and league winning young striker back into the squad to kick on once we finish in Europe

Imagine having 2 strikers scoring goals and competing with each other.

Several of the same posters who called him useless are now saying we shouldnt have loaned him.

Cant have it both ways.

Hes a finisher...hes not going to score goals with no chances / limited minutes.

We need him to score a boatload and either cash in on him for a Pepe type fee £72mil...or we bring him back and play 2 up top.

Win win to loan him out.

What's wrong at Everton, Keane leaves us and he has already scored 7 goals, why?.
[Poor language removed] league and better players feeding him / worse players defending against him.
Add in the fact that he hated being here and he didn't want to try and it's not rocket science.
Wait until he leaves permanently for the truth, when he sells his story to the local rag on how England is crap yada yada.

He clearly doesn't want to be here. Which is a shame because he has real talent. People just don't have the patience for him to grow. Id Sooner have him on the bench then Glyfi or Spray-on Hair

My issue isn't the decision to loan him but what we are doing wrong with young players we buy. Lookman, Vlasic, Kean have all looked a shadow of themselves with us

DCL, Richarlison, Braithwaite....there isn't a problem with young players as a group. Just the fact that sometimes things don't go right and as it's Everton we notice it more.

For every amazing young talent the rightly heralded likes of Wenger or Ferguson brought through or bought in to develop there were more than a few Pat McGibbons, David Bellions, Franny Jeffers or Christopher Wrehs in the mix.

Why did he hate being here, that's my question.
