Good loan move really. People wanted DCL our on loan with a bunch of grocks in the championship at his age. He’s gonna be playing with the likes of neymar and mbappe with more room and will probs bang in the goals. And it’s only a loan so we get a more developed player back hopefully with confidence.

Fortunately there has been no statement from Carlo saying he is satisfied with the squad as it is, so there must be a chance he has a striker in mind, maybe Mitrovic of Fulham. Maybe there is still another Championship striker worth having now that Watkins has been taken. I can't think of any.

He’s awful

He's not awful, it just hasn't worked out here for one reason or another. It happens.

He is a young talent and PSG have the luxury of dropping him into games against other Ligue 1 teams who they should be able to beat quite comfortably so he can settle in. We have never had that here.

It's not a bad scenario for us, he goes and does boss and we get a huge fee or he comes back and does boss for us. Or he does crap of course and we are stuck with him but lets not worry about that just yet.

Makes tomorrow more interesting anyway...
