Silva would've just left it and not made any changes if it wasn't working.

I’m disappointed in him, but he is a kid at the end of the day. He has shown promise in some his previous cameos and I hope this is a wake up call for him. He needs to get in shape big time though

I know how hard I worked as a youngster to prove my worth and get a good reputation. I also expected to get chewed out if I fell short of expectation and didn't expect any concessions. Please don't give me the 'its a different game nowadays' styled reply. Plenty of the worlds current greatest players have a heart of steel, and this is what it should take to play for Everton. As a former player (I forget who) said last week, if Everton have an identity, it is 'Silk and Steel' I totally agree.

If the lad Moise Kean responds to the challenge and comes good, then Ferguson will be seen as doing exactly what was needed to get the change of attitude. If the opposite, and he flakes out on us, well, better that he get shipped out sooner rather than later.

Kid obviously struggling to adapt to this new life. You put him on and then yank him off. That's certainly the way to speak to a talented youngster.
