....good job DCL didn’t miss that sitter. I don’t think he did much to stake a claim for a starting place last night night, but we truly are in the position of choosing a ‘least worst’ striker option than ‘best’.

I’m afraid Richarlison is a street ahead of them all.

And this coming from someone who liked Niasse. If you cant see the quality Kean has, just dont have opinions on footballer and all will be okay.

No haven't seen much quality either. He may be good for us in the future and probably needs a good run of games but my point still stands. What positives can we currently take on Moise Kean on what he has shown in a blue shirt thus far? He hasn't shown me anything yet, he hasn't scored a goal yet. May be one for the future but so far has to be classed as a flop. What have you seen in him @PeregrineT to suggest otherwise.

We said the same about Sandro, mate. Unfortunately there are no guarantees in football. Just because you paid a high price doesn't mean someone will be a success.

Can't believe this lad is being judged on playing about on average 7 minutes a game. How about he's given a proper run like another of our strikers and then let's see and if anyone just watching the lad can't see now that he is a better option than DCL then I give up.

To be fair Kean's footballing pedigree is a couple of levels up from Sandro (Italy and Juve vs. Malaga). Also to my untrained eye there is a glimmer of class in Kean. Sandro could barely be categorized as a polished turd in his Everton displays.

I do agree that there's something about Kean whether it's enough right now to be starting games at this level I don't know, but what other option do we have?

Unfortunately playing at Juventus in a brilliant team that dominates every week is very different to where we are now.

True. Feeding off Sigurdsson and Calvert-Lewin is a bit different to assists from Mandzukic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Kean looks like a talent to me, but he should have scored last night. Forget rustiness or whatever, you get starts by making an impact as a sub and that was his chance. He’s hardly been brought in from the cold having not kicked a ball, he’s been coming off the bench and started for Italy under 21s 2 weeks ago.

I feel like I’m having a go at him recently but I’m not really, I like the look of him, I just don’t think he’s this guaranteed answer to our prayers that some are painting him as. We were told we were getting a superstar, it looks like we have a talented but very raw kid.
