I think he's talking about a formation where every player in the team could be reasonably classed as a "footballer". DCL clearly does not fit this description.

He is 19, new league, new team, language(not first), formation (apparent), big price tag, expectation - threre are so many reasons for him to feel pressure.

Have you never started a new job? In a new country, new people, different language as a teenager?

BTW, I played football this weekend and, even at 44 years old, having missed a couple of sitters, I felt the pressure so sod knows how this KID is feeling.

if he gets 5-10 goals this season he has done well.

with him watching DCL start to feel the pressure after netting once so far , this will bring yet more pressure for him to do well when he comes on.

we needed to have signed a gettable premier league striker , like Wilson , would of loved Lacazette, or maybe a giroud . these players would of the got the majority of our goals whilst bringing kean on for the last half hour or so to ease him gently in.

we gone about sorting our front line up all wrong.

we are now left with 2 young inexperienced forwards , who will be getting increacingly pressurizedgame after game, esp if the results stay as they are now.

why were we going after Zaha all window, wasting our time?? hes not even a striker, he doesn't add THAT many goals, was it 7 for him last year??

if we 80m to splurge on him, then we should of been going after a gettable striker... it doesn't add up. Brands has shown himself up abit if you ask me

I agree and am all for change it’s just the lack of viable options that alarms me

at Juve he was surrounded by great strikers , all of whom got plenty of goals ehich inturn gave Kean the chance to come on and play his own game..

hes come here , and is basically seen as our goal scorer by many , and we don't have anyother options , esp if tosun has gone.

the pressure will be immense.

Tosun and Niasse are our 'senior' strikers. He's a 19yr old Italian he will need a bedding in period, not getting another 'decent' striker for him to learn off in training if nothing else, was a clanger in my opinion.

You can't expect him to shoulder the responsibility of being the main guy and people aren't happy DCL is getting games. I think we needed another striker, the ones we have are not good enough.
