yup, if we can get a player like this through the door, loan, buy back, whatever, without european football, that's good business. The only question is 'how good'.

I can see both sides. If he does well, we might end up in Europe which will make us more attractive for his replacement. And maybe we have someone in mind for 1-2 years from now.

But yeah, ideally the buy back clause wouldn’t be there.
