Such is the market, £30m gets you very little up front. You have to pay twice that and more for proven quality.

I'm happy with signing Kean, I'd rather bring in potential than spend the equivalent sort of fee on another Tosun.

We won't have lost massively if he proves to be underwhelming, but the upside will be great if he fulfills his promise here.

Obviously we all want him to be a success, and it would be great if he hits the ground running, but he should be given the chance to prove his worth over time.

With or without goals from Kean, we should be looking at another striker on loan. If not now then in January. Goals have to be spread around and we don't have enough in the squad that contribute in that respect.
