Everyone is raving. Anyone care to describe what makes it so impressive?
Game play? Content? Graphic? Realism? Control?
i will start with some of the problems ...
party chat is removed for almost all game modes , meaning private conversations are impossible and you have to put up with a lot of squealing from irratants (the french and milk shake kids lol) , unless you mute them ofcourse.(im sure this will change in the next update)
the matchmaking can be hit and miss sometimes aswell.
some of the good things .
single player -campaign - i thought the storyline was good , varied and immersive . theres a lot of big impact moments with a few twists which kept me interested.perhaps at times it does get a bit hectic and you may miss certain aspects such as commands from other soldiers which are critical to the storyline .
special ops - single or double player modes - theres enough here to be a game all on its own.basically its 26 shortish levels in a similar mould to the terrorist level on cod4.the 'evade' alpha level in the snowy forest is awesome to play on veteran , it looks great and just feels right.
you have to sneak through a forest in the snow while guards and dogs are looking for you.the blizzard effect on this part is very good.
graphically , its brilliant , the iw engine is different to the one used for cod4 .the colours and textures are better and the new engine has also allowed for bigger maps.
as for gameplay and control , its bang on perhaps ? easy enough to pick up and play (run and gun ) but also deep enough to allow for tactical play and a learning curve.
the extra guns , emblems etc add for nice variation and incentives.
the amount and variation of killstreak perks is pretty good , i love the turrett and the harrier, ive unlocked nuke (25 kill streak) but not seen it used yet(instant win btw)
funnily enough ive not seen 1 glitcher yet. which is very strange for a cod game.
