If you're a forum supporter, you shouldn't receive any in thread adverts - only the tiny one at the very footer so our ad partner can see overall volume.

They're a necessity I'm afraid, if they didn't contribute towards the server, I'd be knackered.

Yeah I do get that. If whoever looks after the GDN activity (assuming it's GDN here) does a bit of digging and sees low dwell times or poor conversion rates, they could exclude your site anyway technically, so may not be better long term.

I'm not saying remove the ads don't worry, I was just alerting you in case you can do anything to reduce the number of accidental clicks

I still get Ads and I'm upgraded.

Also agreed I do it all of the time and it's really annoying. Page loads a boy slower and you end up clicking the ad. Needs changing as puts me off using mobile.

CTR is below industry standard - 0.15/0.20%.

Their terms means they can remove for pretty much anything, associated content is considerably more risk than position. The current placement is perfectly acceptable - footer - we've had a position there for 6 years. They'd like it to be more prominent of course (below), but it is what it is.
