nice brace from El Maestro last night. was a pretty swell free kick. around the 30 second mark they shift angles and it shows the bend he put on that ball.

I was at that game (you can see me waving the Cascadia flag at the end of the crowd shot). First time I’ve ever seen a free kick scored in person and it was a banger. The window Valeri had to hit to get it over the wall and put it past the near post was tiny.

I'm glad Columbus is staying put (likely) and yes I know its effective but they play some gastly Karanka like-@#$% these days.

Isn't their manager leading the race to manage the USMNT?

To be fair, they did just play 120 minutes on Thursday night. They usually play a bit better than that. And yes, Berhalter is the overwhelming favorite for the USMNT job.

OMFG the Portland player thought they won on away goals.

I think for awhile the coach thought away goals counted in extra time, too. This is his first year in MLS and his former league didn’t have two-legged playoff ties.

Anyway, have a great car show, Seattle!

It's fun going from watching the Premier League to MLS where mediocre players like Johnny Russell are top level attackers. Anyone who thinks the US can build a successful national team around primarily MLS players is naive.

So in the cup final it’s all singing all dancing Atlanta United hosting Portland, who are basically the Goonies. Who you got?
