Didn't watch the entire Galaxy game (only the last 20 mins or so) but to me Donovan looked like he was bored and just going through the motions. Anyone else think the same?

Pretty much yeah. He's in form, everyone else is just getting started.

And the Revs sucked a great sucking (dammit!)

do streams of these games make it onto the net ?

i'm not gonna get up in the middle of the night like, but if it was on and i was doing nothing then i'd hook onto a stream, only to see how landons doing tbh.

I watched the TFC opener at Columbus, I've been watching Everton far too much as quite frankly, TFC were awful. My expectations were too high, I blame Everton. :P

I watched the whole game, and no he wasn't bored and just going through the motions. He was trying to help the newbies get into sync with the rest of the team. He's light years ahead of them all, though.

It's just not as much fun watching him play in MLS now. I wish he were back with Everton.

Oh, and I forgot to add: at the end of the game, they showed a nice big Everton flag/banner behind held up by some fans. Sweet.

The NYRB/Fire match didn't show much quality, but I was impressed with the new stadium. I can see how that place could get very loud and develop some nice atmosphere.

Wow. I got that one wrong.
Yeah you did. In fairness, KC looks like a completely different animal this year.

there are streams, but they're on at the time of the matches; chances are it would be a weird hour for you anyway. But you probably aren't missing much at the moment - going from watching an in-form Everton play to a Galaxy squad just off the preseason would be painful. Landon is bored on the pitch playing with the Galaxy now it seems - he was the best one on the pitch by far

I was a little disappointed they couldn't sell out the opener in a new stadium though. I saw a lot of empty seats. Also surprised they built the seating so close to the sidelines - seems like there is little room to build out or expand if need be. the stadium itself looks ace though.

Biggest surprises for me were DC's shellacking by KC and Houston's tie.

A nice home win by the Dynamo against the defending champions Real Salt Lake.

It took two penalties to do it but we did it.

Sorry Shaggy.

And you did again tonight for the first 75 min. You guys got lucky on those goals. DC just fell asleep and let you win it after dominating pretty much the whole match.

Btw, the commentators for csn NE are horrible.

Who? Brad "Revs FO Staff" Feldman and Jay "I do color as well as I play basketball" Heaps?

Yeah.

The one saving grace is that we are extremely banged up, and as a result extremely young. Leaving aside Twellman, who says he'll be back but is not on any timetable, we were without Reis, Jankauskas, Castro, and Joseph.

On the other hand, we had 3 guys playing their 2nd games as professionals, 2 more in their 2nd season as pros, and 2 other guys who are just now able to drink legally. We had like 2 actual grown-ups on the pitch - the ever-durable Cory Gibbs, and Preston Burpo who started for the Sounders -- when they were USL1.

Now, D.C., they just suck.

Can't disagree with that. Hope we can turn it around.
