Seattle a shadow of what they were last year.

However when you're missing Alonso & Hurtado along with Jaqua for the season, it's gonna make it hard to compete. That's like the Dynamo losing Holden, Clark, & Cameron.

I think the Dynamo situation is far worst..

The Galaxy looked fantastic against Seattle. Tristan Bowen has a lot of potential. Dangerous on the counter. Not afraid to take on defenders. And comes back to help in the midfield.

Yeah, we're hurting pretty bad. Right now I don't see us making the playoffs which would really hurt.

Bowen, Stephens, Hernandez, the list goes on.

Arena has assembled a pretty strong squad there.

well didn't the Revs go to like 4 straight MLS Cup finals?

maybe dynasty isn't the right word, but whatever the Buffalo Bills were, so were the Revs (if my above point is correct)

Houston releases DP bust Landin this evening.

Also, assistant John Spencer (yes, that John Spencer) leaves the club for "personal reasons." My guess is that you can translate "personal reasons" as "taking the Portland Timbers job."

If so, I wish him all the best. He was very good for us as an assistant to Dominic Kinnear.

If this isn't collusion then please explain to me what collusion is:

17.5K for a talented 23 yr old and potential future US international???? WTF?

It's not collusion because there's honest-to-God only one entity, legally speaking. That being said, it's cases like this that took the player's union to the brink of a strike before the season this year. The process of pulling the league back from being able to get away from this crap has begun, but it will take several collective bargaining cycles to work out a complete framework, I would imagine.

He's not the only one. A similar squeeze (not lowball but freezeout) was pulled on Pat Noonan, originally of the Revs, now playing for Seattle.
