Been able to catch a couple of Mets games in-person when they were in the area playing the Orioles and Nats. Got this picture from a great comeback versus the Orioles in early July…seems like much longer ago based on how the Mets are currently playing.

A couple weeks back, can’t remember the opponent but Gary Cohen was talking with Keith Hernandez about how good the Mets had been but how that can change in an instant. No more than a minute later, Senga pulled his hamstring reaching for a throw from Alonso at 1st base, we’ve been bipolar since then.

Cubs been on a slump since the all star break. After looking nailed on for the play offs a month ago, i wouldnt be surprised to see them miss out all together. Poor decisions at the trade deadline as regards getting decent starting pitching will come back to haunt them IMO.
