This is making me laugh people where fapping themselves over having pienaar, mirallas, Barkley, and Deulofeu but now as it hasn't quite clicked yet after only 3 league games we should panic?

Sorry but Martinez is addressing the wrong issues here. He's so hell bent on signing McCarthy and if true another defender? When we need creativity in the middle and up top! He's the manager he must know this but he seems to be overlooking it thus far. So il give him until Christmas and I bet most fans when they see we can't score or create start to turn. Jagielka / Distin / Stones -- Should be our main 3 centre backs (Stones simply because he's got so much promise)
Alcaraz / Duffy / Heitinga -- Alcaraz is injury prone and the other two need to have game time somewhere loans/sales

'Bruno' seems to be a top player with 10 national caps at 21....bit confused where hed fit in unless we go 3 at the back ?

Can see Duffy go out on loan and Heitinga doesn't have a future at Everton. Distin is getting on and Martins Indi would be his successor. There are more pressing needs if only Fellaini leaves, but if Baines goes and we do have the money, than I can certainly see the logic behind bringing him in.

I totally agree.....

However, it could be said that signing McCarthy and Bruno means that he has the defensive setup he wants for a few years...

Baines / Bruno / Jags / Coleman

With Oviedo and Stones as back up with youth on their side could be the way forward in a season....who knows.

Agree completely with that , but I think Martins Indi will only be brought in if Baines is leaving.

You/we don't know what's happening yet though. Heitinga Duffy and baines could all be off today leaving us then all of a sudden quite short. Maybe if baines is going this Dutch defender is his replacement given he can play CB or LB and already having Oveido and garbutt.

Gonna be a interesting day in and outs.
