Misc. Transfer Rumour Thread

Let's clear this up though.

And I'm being generous here overlooking the 9m we 'had' for Leroy Fer in January...

We've sold Fellaini for 27m, which works out about 24m after Liege take their cut. Victor has gone for 5m. That's 32m gained in sales.

We've paid max 13m for McCarthy, say 1.5m for Lukaku loan, nothing for Barry loan, 5m Kone and 2m Robles.

Sell to buy, again. Shocking. And like I say, close to 10m completely vanishing from January.

Will there be money available in January?

What has happened to the BT money that virtually ALL other clubs have spent?

Don't get me wrong, I am made up with Lukaku, but McCarthy at that price and especially Barry don't fill me with confidence. Plus Kone is completely ****e and now not needed with Lukaku there.

Another sad transfer window. Bill and his "I'll give him a few quid", well, no, you didn't. You made him sell our best player and didn't even give him all of THAT money to spend.

We actaully got £27.5m for Fellaini mate, assuming hte £5m was for Victor.

stop crying. We've had a fantastic window. who gives a **** if we havent spent? that extra £15 - £20m could pay off half our debt and give us an extra £5m a year to spend

This. All day.

I'm no lover of Kenwright, but you can't argue with this business PROVIDED we see positive evidence of this window's business in the released accounts data next year. If we do, and we have a top ten finish come the end of the season, I'll be made up. Money to spend in Jan if needed too. Good news.

I'm very suprised that Wigan didn't try and hold us for ransom over McCarthy (I suppose they couldn't, we don't have the cash!). At 22, he's going to be with us for a long time you would help - brilliant buy of a young midfielder.

To get Lukaku for a year is very satisfying and is definitely the big striker we needed. I think Chelsea have pushed him towards us because they want us to potentially sign him in a year if they've found a replacement.

Fellani is a really good deal. Remember it was at just 15,000,000 - the Utd fans laughed at me when I said we would get at least 20, if not 25... it's ended up being 27.

23:26 "Confirmation from Manchester United that three men who reportedly attempted to negotiate a deal to sign Athletic Bilboa midfielder Ander Herrera were not acting on behalf of the Premier League champions and were, for want of another word, imposters.

"Reports in Spain claim three men dressed in black suits and claiming to be United "representatives" spent an hour at the La Liga offices attempting to negotiate a deal. The move collapsed at the 11th hour."

LOL

Dithering Dave is clueless, he made a bid of 28 million for Fellaini and Baines, he let Fellaini release pass by and bought him for 27.5 with a few minutes to go.

Liege may get nothing, since he submitted transfer request.

My summary - We have seen Phil Neville and Anichebe go in the same window and, our ex-manager who shafted us for compo from one of the richest clubs in the world, has been made to look a complete transfer gimp by paying 4m over the odds for a player he could have bought cheaper weeks ago.......moonwalks

And brought in Lukaku who is a complete beast.

I am happy.

Well done us IMO, Moyes has shown that he's the dithered we all thought he was this window. We've done well & gave plenty if change for Jan

Credit where it is due. Well done to BK of getting £27.5m for Fellaini. Koff Man Utd for bidding our best 2 players for £28m in the first place.

Thats the release clause plus the Lukaku loan fee thrown in on top.

Happy with our dealings once they are all confirmed as having gone through. sorry to see Fellani go but a good price. Same with Vic. I know fans are divided over McCarthy but I believe he is going to be a great player for us. The two loans are good business.
