I make rissoles : sausage meat, black pudding, mushrooms and softened onions. Very versatile.

They went through a phase of being used by restaurants for all sorts. Black pudding and scallops springs to mind.

Yes had it once with scallops in some fancy restaurant nice actually, but never had it again unless it’s breakfast.

Like a patty ; lots of recipes usually include diced/minced meat, breadcrumbs or egg to bind, potato or veg. You can add anything really, mix it together as below and grill or fry it. Handy if you have an excess of ingredients as they freeze well.

Indeed, but you can coat rissoles with breadcrumbs or pastry.

Crap weather during half term. Nowt on telly for kids.
Got my old Dungeons & Dragons cartoon box set out and the little ones loved it.
Now moving onto Dogtanian and the Muskerhounds.
