Just another example of why this club is special.

Turns out the other half got in touch with the club over our upcoming wedding. They responded by sending me a congratulations card today, signed by a load of the players. Plus, to top it off, a separate signed Darren Gibson card!


Makes you proud to be a blue, even if the thing is standard, the fact they even bothered to go to that length for a fan.

Always remember skipping 'Song Of Life' on Leftism cos I never much liked the opening few seconds, then one day I let it run, and wowsers.

I never really listened to the album until a few years ago - Inspection (Check One) was the highlight for me! Love finding old albums that I originally ignored but end up really enjoying!

When the Family Club opened in the 80's, along with the 2 kids, I registered their rs Grandad too, put his birthday down as 2 weeks earlier. When his card came, signed by Reid Southall Steven and a few others, I put it in another envelope and posted it to him. The Ma in Law had it front and centre on the mantle piece.

It's a great album, it's a shame they've sort of disappeared from the face of the earth in terms of new material.
