Currently on my holidays in Cornwall.
I am now of the age were I need to keep the everything in moderation more in moderation.
Yesterday morning thought sod it. Full Cornish. Excellent. Made even better by the cafe playing a background playlist of fairly obscure bangers from the mid 80’s. It was like being in sixth form again. (A Flock of Seagulls anyone?)
Later in the day the missus andI had the pleasure of watching 2, literal, love birds nest building.
It was so funny. Without getting into gender stereotyping im guessing the male bird was on the ground with a collection of twigs trying to sort them into some sort of order to build said nest, whilst Mrs Bird sat on a branch watching.
Missus reckons it was just like us with her watching impatiently ,and with increasing levels of exasperation,me and my well known skill of flat pack building attempting to assemble something.
A raised a beer in solidarity with him
A lovely minor happy day.
