Jump into my thread lar.I'm currently on holiday in Fiji. Whenever I'm away and by a pool I tend to binge listen to Desert Island Disc's. I've just finished listening to one of the first ever episodes - Sir Edmund Hillary. And what a top episode. An incredibly humble man, telling adventures I didn't realise he'd undertaken and rather a cracking Playlist too (songs by Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Vera Lynne and Simon and Garfunkel amongst others).
Will do later mate, about to put another DID episode on and topped up my tan right now.Jump into my thread lar.

'The A team' effect. (possibly also 'MacGyver').There’s something incredibly tense and satisfying about a good tooling up for a gun battle montage scene in a film
I was watching Den of Thieves and it reminded me of some of the greats. Commando, Aliens, Home Alone, Hot Fuzz. Pure cinema'The A team' effect. (possibly also 'MacGyver').
I listened to Alexi Sayle a while ago, interesting for sure. I skipped past Chris Boardman but I'll go listen to it now you've suggested it.DID is also my go to on holiday.Chris Boardman was tinged with sadness and Alexi Sayle was interesting, different but interesting!
Just listened to the Chris Boardman one, which was a really interesting listen. Made me happy that he even picked a song by Flight of the Conchords, New Zealand's fourth most popular folk-comedy duo.DID is also my go to on holiday.Chris Boardman was tinged with sadness and Alexi Sayle was interesting, different but interesting!
