I'm currently on holiday in Fiji. Whenever I'm away and by a pool I tend to binge listen to Desert Island Disc's. I've just finished listening to one of the first ever episodes - Sir Edmund Hillary. And what a top episode. An incredibly humble man, telling adventures I didn't realise he'd undertaken and rather a cracking Playlist too (songs by Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Vera Lynne and Simon and Garfunkel amongst others).

Mrs B and I got the bronze medal in the egg throwing (and catching) competition today. Highly competitive as the prize was free beer and the place is full of Australians.

Just listened to the Chris Boardman one, which was a really interesting listen. Made me happy that he even picked a song by Flight of the Conchords, New Zealand's fourth most popular folk-comedy duo.

I’m a bit weird doing jobs in the kitchen in a multi tasking way. I put milk in the microwave for a coffee and it’s got 1 minute 15 seconds. I then have to empty the dishwasher in the fastest way possible and feed the dog before it goes bing. If I succeed I do a little dance.
